Fire Door Inspection

Fire Door Inspection helps your estates team keep a register of every fire door and have each one inspected by your own staff or qualified contractors. Inspectors scan a QR code, barcode or RFID tag on the door and work through a checklist with guidance informed by BS 8214. The standard checklist suits timber doors and can be adapted for steel and composite doors.

 

Weighted answers give each door an overall condition, and results are written back to the door's record in your asset register. Failed checks go to a faults list for supervisors, and larger repairs become tracked actions with email reminders. Inspections can be scheduled at any frequency, including those the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 require, with 12 months as the default. Each building has a live fire door logbook, and dashboard tiles and Power BI reports cover doors across your estate.
